WHERE CAN I GET HELP WITH THE ISSUES INVOLVED WITH PROVIDING FOR CARE TO MYSELF, MY SPOUSE OR MY PARENTS?

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the unfamiliar issues that you have to face when dealing with our complicated system for providing care to the elderly. Hospitals, nursing homes and the County have social workers that are helpful. However, not all institutions have a social worker and there are limits to what social workers can do.

There are private geriatric care managers who can help. They can be an experienced guide through the maze of issues, agencies, institutions and obstacles. Having someone on your side who has seen it all before can make a tremendous difference.

The cost of a geriatric care manager is not covered by insurance or government benefits. However, these private care managers can deliver great value when you have too much on your plate and you need someone in your corner.
