Attorney Fitzgerald received his Juris Doctorate (JD) in 1990 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was an editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and earned membership to the Order of the Coif, a national honor society for law school graduates.
Before establishing his own practice, Doug was an associate for Gibbs, Roper, Loots & Williams, S.C. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His practice emphasis included corporate contracts and litigation, immigration and guardianship services.
In 1994, he moved his practice to West Bend, Wisconsin to focus on estate planning and elder law matters, becoming a partner of Shanebrook & Fitzgerald Law Office, LLP. In 2002, he opened his own firm, Fitzgerald Law Office.
Based upon his belief in continued professional growth, Attorney Fitzgerald maintains his membership in the American Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association and Washington County Bar Association, an regularly attends advanced continuing legal education seminars in his areas of practice.
